The MOU Signing Ceremony between Reanda Malaysia and Aplus Consulting Co., Ltd at Phnom Penh Hotel, Cambodia on April 3, 2009
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was successfully sealed on April 3, 2009, between Reanda Malaysia and Aplus Consulting Co., Ltd, Cambodia, under a joint affiliation to establish Reanda LLKG (Cambodia) Co.Ltd (Reanda Cambodia). The MOU took place at the Phnom Penh Hotel, Cambodia.
The MOU augurs well for the two organizations to join forces to propel growth in developing new business opportunities by providing professional services for the multinational organizations now mushrooming in Cambodia. Over the past decade, Cambodia has overcome many obstacles and challenges. Despite of this major challenges faced by regional and world economies, Cambodia economy grew at 7% in 2008, it calls for more professional services needed to beef up the economic growth.
CEO of Reanda Malaysia, Mr. LL Koong said “Cambodia is currently working on the establishment and strengthening of accounting system and legislations based on international accounting and auditing practices, guidelines, and recommendations. Hence the inaugural of Reanda Cambodia is timely to provide audit, taxation and business process outsourcing services to enhance operational efficiency to the local enterprises as well as foreign investors.”
Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance cum Chairman of National Accounting Council, H.E. Ngy Tayi said in his speech, “The issuance of accounting and auditing license to Reanda Cambodia is one of few licenses issued for foreign firms. We hope Reanda Cambodia’s presence would strengthen the accounting and auditing professional and accounting education in Cambodia.”
In attendance were Tan Sri Dato’ Soong Siew Hoong, Secretary-General of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia, H.E. Ngoun Meng Tech, Director General of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and Mr. Vanthoch Soth, CEO of Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA).
